Gluten & Dairy-Free Blueberry Cranberry Crisp

The combination of blueberries and cranberries give this dessert a delightful balance of sweetness and tartness without being overpowering for either. 2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen | |
2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen | |
1.5 Tbsp sugar | |
1/2 cup brown sugar | |
1/2 cup all-purpose gluten-free flour | |
1 cup gluten-free oats | |
1 tsp ground cinnamon | |
8 Tbsp dairy-free butter |
Directions

Prepare the Fruit
Preheat the oven to 375*F. Rinse and drain the blueberries and cranberries.

Prepare the Berries
Pour the berries into a small baking dish and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle the 1.5 Tbsp sugar over the berries.

Make the Crisp Topping
In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, gluten-free flour, gluten-free oats, and cinnamon.
Melt the dairy-free butter and add to the dry ingredients. Mix well until completely moistened.

Add the Crisp Topping to the Berries
Add the crisp topping to the berries and ensure it's in an even layer.

Bake
Bake for 35 minutes and serve warm.
