Hello and happy Thursday! We’re into my favorite and the most delicious season for fruit produce so I’ll be featuring a few of my favorite fruit recipes. Today’s feature is cherry crisp! This comes together in under 45 minutes and can be made and baked in a jiffy! My fruit crisp recipe is gluten-free and dairy-free and you can’t even tell the difference!

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
3-4 cups sweet and/or tart cherries I used frozen cherries
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose gluten-free flour blend
1 cup gluten-free oats Make sure they're gluten-free!
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
8 Tbsp dairy-free butter, melted

Directions

1.
Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 375* F. Into a small baking dish, pour the fruit (fresh or frozen) into the bottom of the baking dish
Mark as complete

Make the Crisp Topping, Part 1
Into a medium bowl, combine the sugar, flour, oats, and cinnamon and mix well.
Mark as complete

Make the Crisp Topping, Part 2
Add the melted dairy-free butter to the combined crisp topping and mix until thoroughly combined.
Mark as complete

Add the Crisp Topping Over the Fruit
Loosely spoon the crisp topping over the fruit and ensure an even layer.
Mark as complete
5.
Bake
Bake the crisp for 35 minutes until the fruit is juicy and the topping is golden.
Serve topped with dairy-free whipped cream.
