Product Review – Jovial Gluten-Free Dairy-Free Vegan Mac

If you’ve ever eaten Jovial brand gluten-free pasta, you don’t have to wonder why their gluten-free pasta is award-winning!

I decided to give Jovial’s gluten and dairy free vegan mac a try and I can’t go back! Nothing holds a candle to it.

The brown rice pasta cooks well and following the directions on the box allows the pasta to be the ideal al dente! If you’ve cooked gluten-free pasta before, you know how difficult it is to get the pasta just right without overcooking and the pasta falling apart.

The vegan cheese sauce is smooth and the most similar to dairy cheese sauce that I’ve found. The Jovial vegan mac cheese sauce doesn’t have that slightly bitter or acidic/sour taste (unlike most dairy-free cheese sauces on the market), but is quite pleasant and surprising in flavor and similarity to true cheese flavor.

I highly recommend and have no reservations. Because of the area I live in this product isn’t available in stores so I purchased it online from the Jovial website. You can purchase Jovial brand gluten-free pasta off amazon if you can’t find it in stores near you. I guarantee there is no other gluten-free pasta on the market that comes close to the quality of Jovial brand.

I love to cook with cast iron ware. When I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease I donated my cast iron ware due to the risk of cross contamination with gluten that may have been stuck to the insides. But I did keep one large enameled skillet! Cooking pasta in an enameled cast iron sauce pan helps to ensure heat is equally distributed and the pasta cooks evenly. I recommend a small enameled cast iron sauce pan like this one for cooking your pasta (or really for any cooking or baking anything).
